– 30 mins for listening to your material, discussing the sound you are looking for

– 1 hour for setting up, trying different microphones and solutions to achieve the sound you are looking for

– 2.5 hours for recording the main vocal and guitar parts, trying different takes

– 2 hours for overdubbing extra instruments/background vocals and/or doubling vocals/guitar parts wherever needed

– 1 hour listening back, taking notes of any parts that need editing and selecting takes for mixing/mastering
