The studio is specifically designed for emerging/independent bands, unsigned singer-songwriters and folk musicians wanting a truly professional recording without breaking the bank.

The studio’s ethos is to achieve the best sound quality while preserving the emotion and energy of a live performance.

Musicality, creativity and instinct are always given precedence, avoiding click tracks, programming, auto tune, AI, cheap digital effects and anything that makes music lifeless, robotic and stereotyped.

It’s all about finding the right approach to capture the essence of what you do, delivering a personal and original recording.

A UNIQUE ENVIRONMENT

Based in my home, the studio is as welcoming and relaxed as it can be…

… yet it isn’t a “home studio” at all: the standard of the equipment, the instruments and amplifiers, the sound proofing and acoustic treatment is typical of the big studios charging more than twice as much.

We have an arsenal of amazing tools that will inspire you and result in beautiful sounding music.

A LABOUR OF LOVE

I love music that is truthful, heartfelt and fresh. Sometimes a bit rough around the edges.

If your idea of music is Taylor Swift, TV talent shows and the like that is absolutely fair enough, but I am afraid I can’t help you.

I stick to what I am passionate and do best: traditional & folk music, blues, acoustic songwriters and guitar-based bands (rock/indie/punk). If that’s your thing too – whether you are an accomplished musician or someone struggling with your instrument – I’d love to work together to realise your artistic vision.

Andrea operated as a critical friend, suggesting creative ways forward. He is able to look at the big picture while also paying attention to the tiniest details.
